Autumn Pig Roast & Luau

“October is one of the sunniest months of the year in West Marin and we’re going to celebrate this special season with a Luau. Eats By E is returning to Heidrun to pair more succulent island dishes with our latest mead varietals. Ukulenny will be in the house to serenade us with his sonorous Island ukulele. We’ve teamed up with Parties by LT so this is guaranteed to be a finger lickin’, lip smackin’, hula inspirin’, bubbly good time!”

Welcome fall in with a fun Luau!

For this event, upon arrival, you will receive a welcome glass of Heidrun mead. While you get settled into the beautiful surroundings, head over to see the full pig being roasted on display, or sit under the willow tree, or head into the bar for another glass of cold mead. 

During dinner, we will be serenaded by the widely loved Bay Area's very own Ukulenny.

MENU:

Starter: Poke Boats

  • Tofu Poke - ginger/scallion-infused macadamia oil, Hawaiian sea salt. Served over salad greens.

  • Tuna Poke - Hawaiian Bigeye Tuna, tamari, sweet onions, scallions, ginger, toasted sesame seeds, sesame oil.

Mains

  • La Caja China Pig - The star of the show will be a fire-roasted whole pig.

  • Slow Cooked Pulled Chicken Adobo

  • Chocolate Haupia Pie - Bottom layer of chocolate coconut custard, top layer of coconut custard. Graham cracker/shortbread crust. Crushed macadamia and toasted coconut.
