Taglamig: A Filipino-inspired Winter Dinner w/ Wine Pairings

Another Eats by E and Parties by LT collaboration!

5 wonderful, comforting, courses of Filipino-inspired dishes using seasonal winter ingredients.

Parties by LT is providing complimentary wine pairings for 3 of the courses which we had carefully chosen to pair with the unique flavors of Filipino cuisine that will be highlighted in this meal

Classic Menu - $68

Lumpia (Filipino-style crispy egg roll) We will be serving the following flavor with an accompanying dipping sauce: Chicken Shanghai - ground chicken and julienned vegetables.

Salad - Mixed greens, red cabbage, tomatoes, calamansi/honey/sesame vinaigrette, radishes, and coconut/garlic croutons.

Deconstructed Salmon Sinigang + Wine Pairing
Salmon fillet, flash-roasted baby bok choy, green beans, daikon, and peppers. Served with an 8 hour lemongrass, ginger, and tamarind-based broth.

This dish can be a challenging one to pair, with it's big bright flavors but we came up with one that will dance together on your palate.

Adobo-glazed beef short ribs + Wine Pairing
Braised beef short ribs glazed with a sweet and savory adobo glaze. Served with a butternut squash/coconut cream puree and steamed jasmine rice.

For this pairing, we are bringing you something very unique that you can't find in stores with big flavors to be able to stand up to this course.

Blood Orange Bibingka + Wine Pairing
A lightly sweet, moist cake made with rice flour and coconut milk, and blood orange. Served with vanilla bean ice cream, and toasted coconut.

This is an extra special pairing because this one is a slightly sweet fizzy red wine! Yes, that's right a fizzy red so compliment the blood orange flavors.
