EASILY THROW TOGETHER A FUN POOL PARTY USING THIS HELPFUL GUIDE:
Have lots of pool and water toys. Squirt guns, water balloons, and inflatable toys are definite winners. To keep the fun going, set up games like pool volleyball or limbo where everyone can participate. They even have inflatable beer pong tables like this one! ---->
Keep a cooler nearby filled with cold drinks for people to grab whenever they’re thirsty.
Fun background music is key! Keep the music upbeat to maintain that lighthearted, party atmosphere. Pipe those tunes in by setting up a water-safe stereo system near where the action is happening.
Keep it simple - nobody wants to go to an uptight pool party. That means you don't need to get fancy with decorations or food. Low key is for sure the way to go.
Don't forget the sunblock - you don’t want your guests to end up as red as lobsters! FYI: sunscreen needs to be applied at least a half hour before you're in the sun or water, and you should reapply every two hours.
Have extra clean towels! Your guests will love that they don’t have to worry about running out. There never seems to be enough, so the more you can lay out ahead of time, the better. Plus, if you do this before the guests arrive, it’s one less thing to stress about once the party gets going.
